すべてを破壊してしまう核兵器を

私たちは知っている

二度と繰り返してはいけない広島・長崎の悲惨な歴史を

世界に広がる非核平和への願いを

私たち日光市民は　今　この想いを世界に訴えるために

「非核平和都市　日光」を宣言する

Nikko City:Declaration of Non-Nuclear Peace

We have a wish,

That the entire world will achieve peace,

That all humankind will achieve happiness.

We want to protect,

The abundant green and the clear rivers of Kinu,Daiya,and Watarase,

World renowned cultural heritages,

And,above all,each and every precious life.

We want to part ways with,

Violence that maims people,

War that drives people mad,

Nuclear weapons that devastate all.

We know,

We cannot repeat the dreadful history of Hiroshima and Nagasaki,

Of the worlds wish of non‐nuclear peace.

We,the people of Nikko City,to appeal to the world this desire,

Advance our declaration:“Nikko City Non‐Nuclear Peace”
